Puppies

We had 11 puppies who are now 4 1/2 weeks old. I can't believe that they have grown so big. I am going to be really sad when it is time to sale them. We have really become attached to them. It has been fun now that they come out and play with the kids. We have to watch them carefully because they like to wander. I have to run around counting them to make sure they are all there. I also have to make sure Hunter isn't running them over with his tractor or bike. They are so cute!!!

A Day at the Beach

While Brian was in Canada fishing, I decided to take the kids up to Bear Lake with my family. Everyone was there (minus mine and Natalie's husbands). Ryan and Heather came down from Idaho. Kristin brought her friend Kyle. And Natalie invited her good friend Jo'Ella and her family. We had a lot of fun. My parents just got a jet ski so they brought it up and pulled the kids around in a tube. I took Hunter out for a ride with me but shortly after we left, he fell asleep. It was just like the four wheeling ride we went on. As soon as we got going, he would crash in my arms. The weather was so beautiful, hardly any clouds. We went up to the north beach so you could walk way out. The kids had a blast playing dolls in the water or making things in the sand.

Autumn spent most of the day playing on the beach in the sand. Here she is playing with her cousin Sarah and Jo'Ella's identical twins Maddie and Jackie.

I put water wings on Hunter. It was really cute watching him walk around with his arms stuck way out. He had fun playing in the sand.
Brooklyn loved the shallow water. It was nice and warm. Her favorite thing was playing with the babies and mermaids in the water.
Just before we were ready to leave, we took Hunter and Brayden out to clean off all the sand. Of course, you can't get all the sand out of baby rolls with those big swim diapers on... WOW Hunter has a white bum! Brayden had a blast crawling around without anything on.

CANDY, CANDY!!!

We went to two parades for our Pioneer Day celebration! And boy did the kids get the candy!! We got up early to go to the North Logan parade with Brian's mom and sister. It was nice because I didn't have to help them get candy this year so I got to sit back and enjoy. We then stopped off at my grandma Page's house to watch the Logan parade. The kids had a lot of fun and this time Hunter didn't sleep through the horses. He loved watching them walk by.Brooklyn enjoying the North Logan paradeHunter and Grandma McBride Waving at the princesses

Summer fun

Life has been a little crazy these past few weeks. We had the opportunity to get together with family and friends to enjoy the holidays which was a lot of fun. We went to the Hyrum parade. Hunter was so excited to be able to see some horse. But he fell asleep before they came past. He almost slept through the whole thing.

After the parade, we went to my Grandma Page's house and got together with a few of my aunts and cousins. After a lot of coxing, we got this picture of all the great-grand kids that were there.Back row: Autumn, Hannah, Mayah, Brooklyn, Savanah, Sarah
Front row: Hunter, Brayden, Breanin, Gavin, Ashton
We were sitting talking on the porch when they had to snap a picture of all us girls. And no we did not coordinate our outfits.

Brian just started a new job in North Ogden. He still is working in plastic injection moulding. It was crazy, he wasn't even looking for a new job, but then this opportunity came up.

Birthday Girl!!

I can't believe Autumn is 6 years old now. She had a fun day. We had a small birthday party that night with Grandmas and Grandpas. I even tried to make her a fancy birthday cake. I had a few problems but I don't think it turned out too bad. The next week she had a party with her friends from school. They had a lot of fun.
We were waiting for Brooklyn so Autumn could open presents. Brooke was in my bedroom wrapping a present all by herself. She was so excited to give it to Autumn. It was one of Brooklyn's dress up necklaces. It was really cute.
The Barbie cake that I made For Autumn. I'm not much of a cake decorator but Autumn loved her.

Bunk Beds

We decided to get the girls a loft bunk bed. We liked this one because the girls don't have to be directly under each other and it really opened up their room. Now there is more room for them to play. All I need to do now is put up all their decorations on the wall.

A Busy Week

We had a very busy week. Actually, it was mostly Thursday and Friday. This was the first week of my summer break. I can't believe how busy I have been. I still have to get Autumn up and ready for school and I am trying to regain weed control in my garden. I am excited that the school year is winding down. We have had a lot of school activities this week. Here is a summary of events.

Kindergarten Program
Autumn has been attending all day kindergarten this year and has really enjoyed it. There are 4 classes this year and each class wore a different colored shirt. Their program focused of the four seasons. Each class recited a poem about a different season and they all sang a few songs. They even learned to "sign" one of their songs. This is the only picture I got because I was videoing and forgot to hand Brian the camera. Oh well. After they got class awards and diplomas.

Preschool Graduation
Brooklyn's preschool had their graduation and end of year party. Brooklyn got the award for being the most expressive. They could always tell what mood she was in, whether she was happy, sad, or mad. It didn't surprise me.

Kindergarten Field Trip to Willow Park
Today we went to Willow park with all the kindergarten classes. The different colored t-shirts for each class made it easy to tell which kids belonged where. We had a lot of fun.

Brooklyn, Marci, Autumn, Sydnee
This was my group that I took around. Brooklyn got a shirt to make it easy to tell that she belonged in our group. She felt pretty special being a part of Autumn's class.

Hunter enjoyed walking around and making animal noises at the different animals that we saw. This is the first time he has been able to enjoy looking at the animals.

We got to go to a special animal presentation. The kids got to see a hawk, owl, and a snake.
Marci and Autumn relaxing on the bench after.
Hunter fell asleep while eating lunch.
It was a hot day but we still had fun. We all got to eat pizza after and then the kids played on the playground.
